Committed to Shine

  • FRV Services Australia is the developer of the Lilyvale Solar Farm project
  • FRV engaged URS Corporation to assist during the planning application stage.
  • The Central Highlands Regional Council approved the Lilyvale Solar Farm development application in September 2015.

Bright Prospects

The project will deliver significant benefits to the community
  • It creates job opportunities during construction and operation. It is estimated that up to around 200 workers will be required to construct the project. During operation up to around 5 jobs will be created.
  • It brings investment to the area and delivers additional indirect economic opportunities to local businesses including local grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, accommodation providers and petrol stations
  • It delivers clean, zero emissions electricity to meet the region’s energy needs and helps further the development of the Australian clean energy industry.

Powering The Future

  • The technology to be used is solar photovoltaic modules with a horizontal, single-axis tracking system. The panels will be up to approximately 3m high above ground level including the mounting structures.
